Team Spotlight: Kristi

What is your name?

Kristi She/Her

What is your position?

Director of Development

Okay, but what do you do?

Types on keyboard and makes magic happen lol.

What’s your preferred TTRPG?

DnD

Tell us about your favorite character you’ve created and what system it was in.

I created a cat girl (aka a tabaxi thief) wielding dual swords in a dnd 5e one shot. She was quick and mysterious and had a huge fluffy white and gold tail and cute matching ears.

On a scale of 1-10, how weird are you?

What would be the title of your autobiography?

This Antisocial Being

What’s your go-to weapon?

Dual swords

Why did you join NeverEnding?

I really like animation and storytelling, but since I am not super great at either, I thought that this project NeverEnding is creating is a perfect tool for people like me who want to partake in these kinds of activities. I love the customizability and endless amount of uses this project has (other than just for games). And I also get a chance to put my skills to use. Plus, Jamie is so passionate and organized which makes all the difference in a start-up.

Team Spotlight: Kelci

What’s your name?

Kelci Crawford

What’s your position?

Chief Creative Officer. I’m in charge of what the platform (including the character builder) looks like, and I aim to keep the style consistent.

Who’s your favorite character you’ve created? In which system?

Ollie the half-orc druid, in D&D 5e. She’s a LOT of fun to roleplay and a LOT of fun to cast spells with.

What inspires you?

Jeff Smith’s comic, Bone.

What ancestry (i.e. race) + class would you be (from any ttrpg)?

Tiefling or half-orc

FOR SURE a Barbarian, Path of the Ancestors.

What do you hope people get out of the platform?

I hope people can use our tools to tell the stories that have been itching in their brains to get out in visual form. So many people I’ve met over the years have said, “I want to tell this story but I can’t draw!” I hope this platform helps inspire them, and give folks the tools they need to FINALLY get their stories out to the world.

Team Spotlight: Gemma

What’s your name?

Gemma B. Valentine

What’s your position?

Brand Ambassador

Okay, but what do you do?

I am one of the social media content creators for NeverEnding, I create many of the videos and additional animations seen here!

What’s your go-to work jam?

I really enjoy listening to Gaelic music whenever I’m really busy, Clannad is one of my favorite groups. However my ultimate love is Depeche Mode, I recently ordered a dress that has a collage of their album covers on it.

What are you known for?

Before I joined the NeverEnding team I had done a lot of animation work for a couple of YouTube channels. I was in charge of two cartoon series, both of them were created by acclaimed artist/voice actor Sonny Strait. I’m also a huge animation enthusiast and I really enjoy analyzing forgotten media relics.

What do you hope people get out of the platform?

I hope that non-artistic people will try it out of curiosity, and then find a newfound passion to create. So many people who can’t draw or can’t write even, tend to have fantastic story ideas but no proper way of executing them. With the platform being easily accessible, it’ll open so many possibilities to people who didn’t feel like they were capable of pursuing their ideas.

Team Spotlight: Kyle

What’s your position? What do you do?

CFO and HR. I count the beans, make sure everyone signs on the dotted line, and help with running the business.

What would be your superpower and hero name?

My kids named me SheHulk when they were younger.  The reason is embarrassing, but let’s say that those pre-teens in the movie never misbehaved again!

On a scale of 1-10, how weird are you?

10 – very weird, awkwardly weird.

What’s your go-to work jam?

I always have my music shuffling in the background.  Everything but rap and heavy metal.

What inspires you?

My family.

Why did you join NeverEnding?

When Jamie approached me with his idea, he was so extremely excited, it was contagious.  How could I not join?
